Neck Nominations

This news story will be about the NekNominations game. The game involves the player filming themselfs downing drinks and posting the videos online, daring each other to out do the stunts wit increasingly large amount of alcohol or in dangerous situations.

NekNominations are an online drinking game popular over social media websites mainly Facebook and Twitter. Although the game has been around for a few months it only recently came into the public eye as the deaths of two young men in Ireland were linked to the game. The aim of the game is basically someone filming themselves necking a drink usually alcoholic then nominating there friends at the the end of the video, although the friends usually try to out do each other and that's when it get dangerous. I Spoke to Jack to find out more about the craze.

NekNominations is a drinking game that originated on the social media site Facebook. The game became big after a Scottish man filmed himself necking a beer on Christmas day and nominating everyone whos birthday it wasn't, since the game has changed and people being nominated are trying to out do each other while doing stunts while drinking or mixing alot of drinks together. It has recently received some bad publicity after at least five deaths have been linked to the game and a 9year old girl was rushed to hospital after taking part in the game. I spoke to jack rogers to see what he thought of the craze.
